Solara is poor, but spunky and talented Doran is rich, a football star, and a stuck-up bully. Both are 18, and had gone to the same high school. The standard YA tropes start coming out like the stars at night after Solara Brooks gets stuck on an interstellar voyage with Doran Spaulding. It is worth reading if you just want a fun book and don’t care that it won’t be winning any Nebula Awards. This science fiction book is basically the usual young adult romance but set in Outer Space.
